of <h1>Central Government Specifies MTNL's Taxable Bonds Under Section 80L of Income-tax Act, Totaling Rs. 951 Crores</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961, specifies the XI Series Issue of taxable Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Bonds issued by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited, New Delhi. These bonds include 13.5% bonds numbered 1 to 6700000 totaling Rs. 670 crores, 14% bonds numbered 6700001 to 8700000 totaling Rs. 200 crores, and 15% bonds numbered 8700001 to 9510000 totaling Rs. 81 crores, aggregating to Rs. 951 crores. This notification is issued to fulfill the requirements of the specified clause under the Income-tax Act.
