of <h1>Sikkim Amends GST Notification to Include Corduroy Fabrics in Tax Table from September 2017.</h1> The Government of Sikkim has amended its notification No. 5/2017 regarding State Tax (Rate) under the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from 22nd September 2017, the amendment involves adding a new entry, '6A 5801 Corduroy fabrics,' to the existing table in the notification dated 30th June 2017. This change was made following the recommendations of the Council and is published in the Gazette of Sikkim. The amendment is issued by the Finance, Revenue, and Expenditure Department's Commercial Taxes Division.
