The Commissioner of State Tax authorizes the Additional Commissioner of State Tax Anti Evasion, the Joint Commissioner (Administration) Anti Evasion, and all Joint Commissioners (Administration) of State Tax to designate proper officers. These officers are authorized to intercept any conveyance to verify e-way bills, either in physical or electronic form, for the inter-state movement of goods within their respective jurisdictions.
