of <h1>Delhi Appoints New Officers for GST and VAT Duties Under 2017 and 2004 Acts to Support Tax Administration.</h1> The Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has appointed officers to fulfill statutory duties under the Delhi Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. The officers, whose appointments are effective from their respective dates of joining, are designated as Goods and Service Tax Officers and Assistant Value Added Tax Officers. These appointments are intended to assist the Commissioner of State Tax and Value Added Tax in administering the relevant Acts. The notification was issued by the Finance Department of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
