of <h1>Bihar Amends Tax Notification: Changes to Schedules I & III Effective July 1, 2017, Include Revised Terms and Omissions.</h1> In the corrigendum to Notification No. 01/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated 29th June 2017, the Government of Bihar's Commercial Taxes Department has made amendments. In Schedule I, at serial number 180, the term '30' is revised to '30 or any Chapter.' In Schedule III, at serial number 42, the phrase 'other than those' is omitted. Similarly, in Schedule III, at serial number 411, the words 'goggles and the like, corrective, protective or other' are removed. These changes are effective from 1st July 2017, as ordered by the Governor of Bihar.
