of <h1>Andhra Pradesh GST Amendment: New Document Verification via Aadhar EVC and Bank OTP, Effective Retroactively from June 22, 2017.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh, under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Service Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2017, has established verification methods for document authentication. These methods include Aadhar-based Electronic Verification Code (EVC) and bank account-based One Time Password (OTP). The notification mandates that verification using these methods must occur within two days of document issuance. This regulation is effective retroactively from June 22, 2017, as per the notification issued by the Chief Commissioner of State Tax.
