India Imposes Five-Year Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Pentaerythritol to Protect Domestic Industry from Price Undercutting.
The Government of India has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of Pentaerythritol from China for five years, effective from the date of publication in the official Gazette. This decision follows a sunset review by the Designated Authority, which found continued dumping of the product from China, causing harm to the domestic industry. The duty aims to prevent further injury by addressing price undercutting and underselling. The imposed duty is set at 185.15 USD per metric ton and will be payable in Indian currency, with the applicable exchange rate determined at the time of entry presentation under the Customs Act.
