of <h1>Customs Commissioner Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Pooja Hardware Case Across Multiple Jurisdictions in Maharashtra.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs appoints the Principal Commissioner/Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House, Maharashtra, as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment is to exercise powers and duties for adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice issued to M/s. Pooja Hardware Pvt. Ltd and others. The notice was issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Chennai, on September 30, 2014. The authority will cover the jurisdictions of the Commissioner of Customs (Port-Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House and the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai.
