of <h1>Licensing rules for restricted rough marble block and travertine imports set quotas, US$325/MT floor, and strict eligibility.</h1> Amends the import licensing note for Chapter 25 to make imports of rough marble blocks subject to the conditions prescribed in this notification and prescribes the licensing policy for restricted imports of rough marble blocks and travertine (ITC(HS) 25151100 and 25151210) for FY 2014-15, superseding earlier guidelines; applications are admissible only from units meeting specified eligibility criteria (installed, applicant-owned non-leased gangsaw by 31.03.2014; at least five years' operation by 31.03.2014; cumulative turnover of at least Rs. 5 crore from processed marble slabs/tiles during FY 2011-12 to 2013-14; and central excise registration). Licences carry a floor price of US$ 325/MT, are capped by an annual aggregate quota of 8 lakh MT and 3500 MT per gangsaw, are subject to actual user condition, require monthly import returns, and remain valid up to 31.12.2015.
