This appointment is made under the Customs Act, 1962, to handle adjudication related to show cause notices issued to a company located in Bengaluru. The notices were issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Patna, concerning matters from June 2013. The appointed authority will exercise powers and discharge duties for adjudicating these specific customs-related issues.
