      52/2020- State Tax - dated - 19-11-2020 - Delhi SGST
      Seeks to amend Notification No. 76/2018– State Tax, dated the 3rd September, 2019
      Summary: Amendment substitutes the Table in the third proviso to provide class based extended due dates for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for February-July 2020 by reference to aggregate turnover bands and grouped States/Union Territories. It adds provisos waiving the portion of late fee in excess of a small amount for returns for July 2017-January 2020 if filed between 1 July and 30 September 2020, and fully waiving late fee where the state tax payable in such returns is nil. The notification is effective from 24th June, 2020.

      (46/2020)-FD 03 CSL 2020 - dated - 19-11-2020 - Karnataka SGST
      Amendment in Notification (07/2020) No. FD 03 CSL 2020(e), dated the 27th March, 2020
      Summary: The amendment replaces the monetary threshold wording in the first paragraph of Notification (07/2020) No. FD 03 CSL 2020(e), altering the applicability criterion of that notification by substituting the earlier threshold wording with a lower threshold wording, effective as stated in this amendment issued under sub-rule (4) of rule 48 of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017.

      ERTS (T) 65/2017/Pt.II/101 - dated - 16-10-2020 - Meghalaya SGST
      Seeks to amend Notification No. ERTS(T)65/2017/12, dated the 29th June, 2017
      Summary: Amends Notification No. ERTS(T)65/2017/12 by inserting serial 19C (tariff 9965) to exempt satellite launch services supplied by specified space entities, showing "Nil" in the tax columns; effective 16 October 2020.

      ERTS (T) 65/2017/Pt. II/97 - dated - 30-9-2020 - Meghalaya SGST
      Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (Eleventh Amendment) Rules, 2020.
      Summary: The amendment requires a Quick Reference code embedding an Invoice Reference Number where invoices are issued under the prescribed provision, and permits electronic production of that QR code with embedded IRN for verification by the proper officer in lieu of the physical tax invoice. It further authorises the Government, on Council recommendation, to notify exemptions from issuing such invoices for specified persons or classes for a specified period subject to conditions.

      Amendment in Notification No. 14/2020 -State Tax, dated the 21st March, 2020
      Summary: The Government, exercising the proviso to the GST rules on the Council's recommendation, substitutes the words "a financial year" with "any preceding financial year from 2017-18 onwards" and replaces the date "1st day of October" with "1st day of December" in the specified notification, thereby expanding applicable prior years and postponing the effective date.

      ERTS (T) 65/2017/Pt. II/95 - dated - 30-9-2020 - Meghalaya SGST
      Amendment in Notification No. 13/2020 -State Tax, dated the 21st March, 2020
      Summary: The notification's first paragraph is amended to replace "a financial year" with "any preceding financial year from 2017-18 onwards", and to insert "or for exports" after references to supplies "to a registered person", thereby extending the temporal scope and expressly including supplies for export under the State GST notification.

      Amendment in Notification No. 41/2020 -State Tax, dated the 5th May, 2020
      Summary: Amendment substitutes the operative deadline in notification No. 41/2020-State Tax (dated 5th May, 2020) by replacing the previously specified figures, letters and words constituting the earlier deadline with a later date. The Government of Meghalaya issues this change under the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 44 of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 read with rule 80 of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, without altering any other terms of the original notification.
