<h1>Artificial intelligence in investigations endorsed as an investigative aid; TRACE laboratory inaugurated to bolster digital forensics and evidence training</h1> Artificial intelligence is endorsed as an investigative aid to accelerate handling of large volumes of digital data but not as a substitute for human judgment; this guidance is paired with operational training enhancements. A Training and Research in Advance Cyber Evidence (TRACE) laboratory has been inaugurated to provide hands-on, scenario-based training in cybercrime investigation, digital forensics, seizure-to-presentation lifecycle of electronic evidence, and related investigative procedures, thereby strengthening capacity building for sub-inspectors trained in anti-corruption, economic offences, bank frauds, mobile forensics and forensic science.
