<h1>Supplementary grants revise FY 2025-26 budget: higher transport and education spending, lower scheme allocations, immediate spending approval.</h1> Supplementary demands for grants for FY 2025-26 revise Delhi's budgetary allocations by increasing capital expenditure from ?28,115 crore to ?30,248 crore and reducing total scheme/programme/project allocations from ?59,300 crore to ?57,850 crore, with the Assembly's approval giving immediate budgetary authorization for the revised outlays. Sectoral grants are enhanced for transport (including roads/bridges) from ?12,952 crore to ?16,024 crore and education from ?19,291 crore to ?20,702 crore (21% of the ?1 lakh crore budget), enabling higher expenditure under those heads. Housing and urban development rises to ?11,754 crore; project and entity support is increased for DMRC, MCD, DJB (loan), and DTC; and specific provisions are raised for road strengthening, university land/flats, power subsidy to discoms, legacy expressway liabilities, Yamuna Action Plan, Barapullah Phase III, unauthorised colonies, and RTE tuition-fee reimbursements.
