<h1>Survey reveals air pollution pushing Delhi-NCR residents toward illness, higher costs, and relocation, demanding urgent regulatory action</h1> A recent survey of 4,000 residents across Delhi-NCR indicates widespread health and economic impacts from severe air pollution, with over 80 per cent reporting persistent pollution-related ailments and 68.3 per cent having sought medical treatment in the past year. Around 76.4 per cent have significantly reduced outdoor activity, and nearly 80 per cent are considering or have already relocated, with 37 per cent taking concrete steps toward moving. Approximately 85.3 per cent report increased household expenditure due to pollution, with 41.6 per cent facing substantial financial strain. The findings highlight air pollution as a systemic public health and socio-economic issue requiring sustained, coordinated regulatory action.
