<h1>India, Israel Move Toward Free Trade Deal, Boosting Strategic Ties in Tech, Agritech, Water, Defence and Innovation</h1> The Indian Commerce Minister concluded a three-day visit to Israel focused on deepening strategic and economic cooperation. Both governments signed Terms of Reference to launch structured negotiations toward an India-Israel Free Trade Agreement. Bilateral meetings with Israeli counterparts addressed trade, infrastructure, mining, labor mobility, food security, seed technology, and agricultural water reuse. The Minister co-chaired business and CEOs forums, facilitating over 250 B2B meetings and promoting collaboration in technology, agritech, water technology, defence, fintech, AI, quantum computing, pharmaceuticals, and space. Site visits and engagements with businesses, communities, and political leadership reinforced commitments to expand partnerships and accelerate technology-driven cooperation.
