<h1>Government department completes two-phase special campaign: clears all pending matters, weeds 550 files, frees 180 sq ft</h1> A government department conducted a two-phase Special Campaign to clear pendency and improve cleanliness of its office and surrounding areas; Phase I identified pending matters (including parliamentary references, MPs' references, inter-ministerial and state government communications, PMO references, and public grievances) and sites for beautification, and Phase II implemented clearance and upkeep. The campaign reports reduction of identified pendencies to nil, weeding of 550 physical files, beautification of one CTU site, constitution of a committee to identify 45 unserviceable IT and office items for condemnation and disposal, and freeing up 180 sq ft of space.
