<h1>Refurbished Terminal 2 reopens at major international airport after renovation, now handling 15 million passengers annually</h1> The Civil Aviation Minister inaugurated the refurbished Terminal 2 (T2) at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, which had been closed for renovation since April and will resume operations the following day; T2, originally built by the Airports Authority of India about four decades ago, now has an annual handling capacity of 15 million passengers. The airport, operated by Delhi International Airport Ltd, comprises three terminals and four runways with over 1,300 daily flight movements and a reported system-wide capacity exceeding 100 million passengers annually, with expanded capacities of 40 million for T1 and 45 million for T3.
