<h1>Steelmaker signs 20-year contract with cryogenic operator to run and maintain 1,800 tpd on-site Air Separation Unit</h1> A major steelmaker has entered a 20-year contract with a specialist cryogenic gas operator for operation and maintenance of an on-site Air Separation Unit at Jamshedpur that produces 1,800 tonnes of oxygen per day plus nitrogen, argon and dry compressed air for use in blast furnaces and steel melting shops. The unit is in stabilisation and is to be handed over to the operator next month. The agreement leverages the operator's global cryogenic expertise, including remote operational support and maintenance practices from its overseas facilities, to improve plant efficiency and long-term operational performance.
