<h1>Country A's September exports to Country B fall 11.9% to $5.46B as Country B's 50% tariffs hit key sectors</h1> Country A's merchandise exports to Country B fell 11.93% to USD 5.46 billion in September while imports rose 11.78% to USD 3.98 billion, according to official trade data; year-to-date (April-September) exports to Country B rose 13.37% to USD 45.82 billion and imports 9% to USD 25.6 billion. Country B imposed 50% tariffs on most imports from Country A from August 27, and bilateral trade talks are underway. A trade research group reported a sharp monthly export drop in September, especially in textiles, gems and jewellery, engineering goods and chemicals. Exports to Country C increased, and trade with several other partners showed mixed movements.
