Territorial Army cyber competition crowns winners after 10,000 entrants across bug-hunting and datathon tracks; AI pre-summit event
The Territorial Army-led cyber competition concluded with a grand finale and awards ceremony, supported by defence research, an academic institute, a cyber non-profit and government cybersecurity agencies; it was also designated a pre-summit event for an AI summit. Nearly 10,000 participants from over 1,500 institutions entered two tracks-bug-hunting (OS-level vulnerability discovery in a simulated defence environment) and a datathon (predictive threat intelligence and drone anomaly detection). Seventy-five finalists competed; category prizes were awarded to a solo team, a two-member team, and a three-member team. The event included panels on cyber readiness, legal frameworks and military-civil fusion.
