<h1>Defence cooperation expanded, reaffirming commitments to interoperability, defence supply chains and maritime security under a strategic partnership.</h1> India and the United Kingdom reviewed bilateral defence engagements and agreed to deepen cooperation by enhancing naval interoperability through joint exercises and harbour activities. They committed to strengthen defence-industrial ties, collaboration in global defence supply chains, and support for indigenous manufacturing. Both parties reaffirmed expanded maritime cooperation in the Indo Pacific and Indian Ocean regions to support a free, open, rules based order and freedom of navigation, within the framework of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and shared strategic vision.
