The India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement creates preferential access for Indian coffee into Switzerland, Norway and Iceland by EFTA removing duties on HS Chapter 0901 and related HS 210111/210112 lines, while India retained Chapter 0901 on its exclusion list (100% MFN rate) but applied staging categories (E7 for Iceland; E5 for Norway and Switzerland) to phase in preferential duty relief for instant and specialty coffee lines. The agreement aims to facilitate entry into premium EFTA markets.
