Commission announces zero-tolerance on exam cheating; offenders face minimum three-year debarment, possible criminal FIRs, Aadhaar and face-auth checks
The Commission announced a zero-tolerance policy against cheating and use of fake certificates in recruitment exams, warning that offenders face strict administrative penalties including at least three years' debarment from exams and potential criminal prosecution with FIRs. It cited a recent discharge of a former probationer for wrongly claiming OBC and disability reservations and said criminal action is underway in that case. Anti-fraud measures include Aadhaar integration, face-authorisation at exam centres and plans to accept certificates via DigiLocker. The Commission also said coaching is not mandatory, there are no proposals to change age/attempt rules, and the CSAT in prelims is only qualifying (33%).
