<h1>Joint airline-manufacturer venture opens 12,000 sqm pilot training centre with ten full-flight simulators and Rs 1,000 crore investment</h1> An equal joint venture between a national airline and an aircraft manufacturer has established a 12,000 sq m pilot training facility in Haryana to train A320 and A350 crews, with a planned investment of over Rs 1,000 crore to install ten full-flight simulators (two currently installed, six additional A320 and two A350 simulators to be added). The centre aims to train more than 5,000 pilots over the next decade and will complement an existing training hub to create a combined 14 simulators. The wider plan includes setting up a large flying training organisation, a DGCA-certified basic maintenance training programme tied to an MRO, and workforce development initiatives.
