The facility houses Full Mission Deck and Engine simulators, ECDIS units and AR/VR laboratories to provide immersive training in watchkeeping, steering, collision avoidance, navigation light identification and engine troubleshooting. The centre aims to bridge academic learning and real-world operations, enhance cadet practical skills before sea deployment, and reinforce the institute's role in developing skilled maritime professionals.
