<h1>Government and central bank announce weekly Treasury Bill auctions Oct-Dec 2025 totaling Rs.247,000 crore of 91-, 182- and 364-day bills</h1> The government, in consultation with the central bank, published the auction calendar for Treasury Bills for Oct-Dec 2025, announcing weekly auctions of 91-, 182- and 364-day bills (Rs. 7,000 crore, Rs. 6,000 crore and Rs. 6,000 crore respectively per auction) totaling Rs. 247,000 crore for the quarter (Rs. 91,000 crore short-term; Rs. 78,000 crore each for medium and long-tenor). The authority reserves the right to vary amounts and timing based on market conditions, requirements or holidays with prior notice; auctions will follow the terms of the applicable general notification, as amended.
