<h1>Government-backed international building materials expo to drive export-led growth, boost MSME market access and sustainable innovation</h1> A government-backed international building materials exhibition has been launched to position the national construction sector for export-led growth, supported by central ministries and sectoral trade bodies. The event, organized with industry associations and developers, will convene manufacturers, start-ups, foreign buyers, procurement agencies and other stakeholders across 24 defined product and service sectors, promoting sustainable innovation, trade facilitation and buyer-seller engagement. Scheduled at a major convention centre in New Delhi in April-May 2026, the forum aims to accelerate market access for MSMEs and large firms, while raising issues of regulatory coordination, procurement practices and international trade compliance.
