of <h1>University team wins GenCyS 2025 Capture the Flag finale; Rs.1.5 lakh prize and conditional job offer awarded</h1> A technology firm held its GenCyS 2025 Capture the Flag cybersecurity competition with over 1,000 registrants and a 50-team onsite finale covering Web, Forensics, Cryptography, OSINT, IoT, AI and Reverse Engineering. A university team won the finale, receiving Rs. 1.5 lakh (Rs. 1 lakh cash and Rs. 50,000 in gift hampers) and a conditional job opportunity with the organizer; runner-up and second runner-up teams received Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 30,000 respectively. Organizers said the event aimed to develop practical cybersecurity talent and strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
