of <h1>Private firm to invest USD 3bn in 2,400 MW ultra-supercritical plant under DBFOO with 25-year PPA at Rs6.075/kWh</h1> A private thermal power company will invest USD 3 billion to build a 2,400 MW ultra-supercritical plant in Bihar under a Design-Build-Finance-Own-Operate (DBFOO) model, following a Letter of Award and a signed 25-year Power Supply Agreement with the state power generation company to supply power to two state distribution companies. The project, won by the company at a tariff of Rs 6.075/kWh, has coal linkage under the national SHAKTI policy, targets commissioning within 60 months, and projects 10,000-12,000 construction jobs and 3,000 operational jobs.
