<h1>Mauritius prime minister and spouse visit major temple during state visit, join ceremonial darshan, Ganga aarti and river cruise</h1> On a state visit from September 9-16, the Mauritius prime minister and spouse visited a major temple in Varanasi on September 12, offering prayers during a ceremonial darshan attended by the state governor and the state finance and parliamentary affairs minister. The delegation also participated in the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and a river cruise along the Ganga. Due to rising river levels, the Aarti was held on the Ganga Seva Nidhi terrace, where the Nidhi's president and state officials participated in customary welcome rituals.
