<h1>Transport ministry drafts toll policy, launches Rs 3,000 FASTag annual pass and plans green-hydrogen truck corridors</h1> A union minister said the road transport ministry is drafting a toll policy to grant benefits to state and private bus operators using national highways and highlighted a recently introduced FASTag-based annual pass for non-commercial private vehicles priced at Rs 3,000, valid one year or up to 200 trips. The ministry identified ten highway stretches for deployment of green-hydrogen trucks with accompanying hydrogen refuelling stations to be installed by major fuel companies, and noted several manufacturers are producing hydrogen trucks. The national highway agency is also developing 750 wayside amenities on private land.
