The department directed mobilisation of technical teams for on-site support, expedited distribution of seeds and critical inputs where needed, and provision of advisory services on crop restoration. It also instructed coordination with a regional agricultural university to develop scientific remedies, including introduction of short-duration crop varieties for severely impacted zones, and to document losses for relief and rehabilitation planning.
