Key operative initiatives include a revised National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme, a national ITI Upgradation and Centre of Excellence programme using a hub-and-spoke model, integration of vocational training with mainstream education under NEP 2020 through credit and apprenticeship-embedded degree programs, and innovative financing mechanisms such as a Skill Impact Bond and a restructured Model Skill Loan Scheme to mobilise investment for skilling outcomes.
