Established in 2008, the laboratory serves remote districts, providing timely forensic reports. It was the first in the country to achieve this accreditation in 2018 and to be designated as an Examiner of Electronic Evidence under the IT Act. The laboratory supports investigations by national agencies, participates in international proficiency testing, and offers specialized services for recovering data from damaged devices under a government fund.
