The project, structured on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer basis, aims to enhance cargo handling capacity to 5 million metric tonnes annually and is scheduled for completion by December 2027. The private party will invest the principal amount, while the government will contribute Rs 22.30 crore through budgetary allocations.
