<h1>Delhi extends CM SHRI Admission Test deadline to Aug 22; test rescheduled to Sept 6 under NEP 2020 and NCF 2023</h1> The Delhi government extended the deadline for submitting online applications for the CM SHRI Admission Test 2025 for classes 6 to 8 to August 22, revising the test date to September 6. This initiative aims to establish CM SHRI Schools modeled after the PM SHRI Schools, following the National Education Policy 2020 and implementing the National Curriculum Framework 2023. These schools will feature advanced technology such as AI-enabled libraries, AR/VR smart classrooms, biometric attendance, and robotics labs. Additionally, the Delhi Board of School Education is being phased out, with affiliated schools transitioning to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The government allocated Rs 100 crore for this project in the recent budget to support the operationalization of these future-ready government schools.
