The US-based corporation will transfer its high-C rate cell technology to the Indian manufacturer, which operates the country's first mass-scale cylindrical lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility. The Indian company plans to establish a Giga factory with 10 GWh capacity in phases, targeting drones, defense, aerospace, and electric vehicle applications. The partnership will initially focus on producing high-energy and high-power battery cell formats including 18650, 21700, and NMC cells with varying capacities.
