<h1>Department of Public Enterprises promotes Industry 4.0 adoption across Central Public Sector Enterprises through collaborative workshop</h1> The Department of Public Enterprises organized a workshop in New Delhi to promote Industry 4.0 adoption across Central Public Sector Enterprises. The Secretary emphasized a collaborative 'Whole-of-CPSEs' approach for integrating Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Digital Twins, 3D Printing, and 5G infrastructure. Expert presentations covered digital design applications, infrastructure transformation through Digital Twin platforms, and AI-driven predictive analytics. CPSEs including Powergrid, HSCC, and BSNL shared successful implementation experiences in AI maintenance, digital simulation, and 3D printing supply chains. Leadership from major CPSEs participated in discussions on strategic roadmaps and sector-specific adoption across Energy, Power, Construction, Infrastructure, and Telecom sectors. The initiative aims to enhance global competitiveness and operational excellence, with Industry 4.0 consideration for future CPSE assessment frameworks. Additional regional workshops are planned for completion by August 2025.
