Urban development projects worth Rs 12,360 crore were announced, covering housing, water supply, sewerage and infrastructure development. The state is establishing metropolitan authorities around major cities to promote planned urbanization. Over 1,500 stakeholders from government and private sectors participated in the conclave focused on building future cities.
