<h1>85% of graduates prefer industry certifications over postgraduate degrees for better employment prospects and earnings</h1> A survey of over 9,000 university students and recent graduates across India and 10 global markets reveals that 85 percent of graduates prefer industry certifications for better employment prospects and higher earnings. The study shows 87 percent of respondents are confident about career prospects, with 68 percent believing certifications offer better career progression than postgraduate degrees. Finance emerged as the top career choice for 38 percent of graduates, followed by IT and education. Additionally, 92 percent feel confident using AI tools in the workplace, while 67 percent prefer returning to India for employment despite considering overseas education.
