The slowdown was attributed to poor performance across manufacturing, mining, and power sectors. Manufacturing output growth decelerated to 2.6 percent from 5.1 percent year-on-year. Mining production contracted by 0.1 percent compared to 6.6 percent growth previously. Power production declined 5.8 percent versus 13.7 percent growth in the corresponding period. For April-May period, industrial production grew 1.8 percent compared to 5.7 percent in the previous year.
