The activist filed RTI applications against the school and demanded Rs 10 lakh to withdraw a court case, receiving Rs 2.5 lakh initially. After withdrawing the case, the duo continued extortion attempts, demanding Rs 5 lakh through additional RTI filings with other departments. The school operator paid Rs 25,000 and reported the incident to police after capturing evidence on CCTV. Both accused were arrested and sent to judicial custody following an FIR registration.
