<h1>UAE-India launch startup series to boost innovation collaboration and internationalization under 2022 trade agreement</h1> A start-up series promoting innovation-led collaboration between India and the UAE was launched to support internationalization of Indian start-ups. The initiative, launched by the UAE-India CEPA Council and the UAE Embassy, fulfills commitments under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed in 2022. Bilateral trade reached USD 83.64 billion in FY 2023-24, marking nearly 15% year-on-year growth. UAE foreign direct investment into India tripled to USD 3.35 billion, making the UAE India's fourth-largest investor. The program will culminate in a pitch event where five selected start-ups receive UAE soft-landing packages including incubation support and investor access. Applications are open until July 31.
