Key initiatives included inaugurating a new railway line costing Rs 400 crore, flagging off Vande Bharat Express service between Patliputra and Gorakhpur, and launching an export locomotive for Guinea under Make in India initiative. Six sewage treatment plants worth Rs 1,800 crore were inaugurated under the Namami Gange project, with foundation stones laid for additional water supply and sanitation projects totaling Rs 3,000 crore. A 500 MWh Battery Energy Storage System across 15 grid substations was announced to reduce electricity costs and enhance supply reliability. Over 53,600 beneficiaries received housing assistance under the urban housing scheme.
