<h1>International development credit supports watershed planning and convergence with rural employment schemes to boost rainfed agriculture productivity.</h1> A concessional credit finances the Karnataka Watershed Development Project II to strengthen integrated watershed planning, capacity building, monitoring, and post harvest value addition across selected micro watersheds in seven districts, improve rain fed agricultural productivity, and raise farmer incomes through program convergence with rural employment and other state programs, pilot innovations, expanded rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge, agro climatic technologies, horticulture promotion, and technical support for soil, water and crop management; financed by the International Development Association on concessional terms.
