All BSE sectoral indices ended higher, with realty showing the strongest performance (5.81%). Small-cap and mid-cap indices gained 3.21% and 3.02% respectively. Despite the rally, analysts note uncertainty remains due to falling crude oil prices and foreign institutional investor outflows.
