Direct Tax Collections of Rs.2,65,417 crore  have been made till 15^th November,2012 during the current Financial Year 2012-13. It is expected that the total Direct Tax Collections for F.Y. 2012-13 will exceed the collection for F.Y. 2011-12. 

The details of Direct Tax Collections (net) for the last 4 years as well as for the current year (up to 15^th November, 2012) is as given below:

Direct tax collections of the current financial year are reported at Rs.2,65,417 crore up to 15 November 2012, with the fiscal expected to exceed the previous year's net collections; the most recent annual and current-year figures are described as provisional and sourced to the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, CBDT.
