According to an Enforcement Directorate report incorporated in the CBI FIR, the accused was allegedly a beneficiary of proceeds from the online betting operation. The ED claims the Dubai-based betting empire generated approximately Rs 450 crore monthly, with promoters allegedly using cryptocurrencies to hide money trails. The accused has denied all allegations, calling them politically motivated and highlighting that his administration had previously taken action against the betting operation by filing 74 FIRs and arresting over 200 people.
