<h1>Vedanta to develop aluminium park in Jharsuguda with Rs 1 lakh crore investment, creating 200,000 jobs for MSMEs</h1> Vedanta Ltd will establish a modern aluminium park in Jharsuguda, Odisha, adjacent to its existing smelter. The 253-acre park aims to attract over 100 MSMEs and create 200,000 jobs. The company plans to invest Rs 1 lakh crore for this park and a 3 million tonnes per annum aluminium plant in Rayagada district. This follows a memorandum of understanding signed with the state government in January at the 'Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave.' Vedanta already operates a 1.8-MTPA smelter in Jharsuguda and a 3.5-MTPA alumina refinery in Kalahandi district.
