<h1>Modi Government's Decade-Long Health Infrastructure Transformation Delivers Benefits to Crores Through Increased Budget and Expanded Facilities</h1> The Union Home Minister stated that the Modi government has significantly improved India's health infrastructure over the past decade using a holistic approach. Speaking at Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, he unveiled a statue, inaugurated an ICU, and laid a foundation stone for a postgraduate hostel. The minister highlighted achievements including poverty reduction for 25 crore people, housing for 20 crore people, and provision of free food grains to 81 crore beneficiaries. He noted that the health sector budget increased from Rs 37,000 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 1.37 lakh crore in 2025-26, while AIIMS facilities expanded from 7 to 23, and medical colleges grew from 387 to 766.
